Dwarven Golem Pregnancy Protocol.

On the other hand, I had a scene in mind.
You have a dude in slumber.
Flashes of memory tell of him being a noble who was shamed. To atone for such shame he became a warrior.
And when war occured he lead his elite squad to multiple victories….but the enemy would not let that be.
An attack on their visit to the border towns was overwhelming….he had no choice but to buy time for the townspeople’s evacuation…..and was brutally beaten and captured.
His team came to rescue him but the enemy had fused his body to a tree….making conventional escape impossible. His team mates however were not here on a conventional rescue mission……and he awakens.
Finding himself in a sticky gooish chamber, he swims towards the light and with great effort drags himself out of the jelly like substance.
He groans in pain as he pulls out a tube from his throat and rips out the several needles in his back hands and feet.
Rolling to a sitting position he realises that his originally caramel skin is now a dull grey….the color of a synthetic…synth for short.
He looks to the chamber he came out of to see a giant plump female dwarven golem kneeling in front of him with a gap in her large stomach….where he had crawled out of.
Crawling towards a nearby monitor, he reads the details, basically his brain and central nervous system were harvested from his original body and implanted into a manufactured synth body and he had been put in hiding when the base had been attacked. The golem had escaped and found a safe hideout to continue it’s ……pregnancy protocol.

Earth Idolia

Number 3 of the Idolia series.

Earth….The mother. The one that supplies everything we use, from food, to concrete to even humans….all things, all of us come from the earth. It can be said to be the material from with everything is made.

Earth is resilient, tough and durable. It is dependable, stable and as unchanging as anything can be….

However Earth can be stubborn and  restrictive needing particular methods/skills to soften or break it into something useful.

Let us be strong like the earth, yet not be too stubborn against new things/ideas.

Idolia series number 3:

Wind.

Wind is the breath of life, Wind carries our voices and helps us to communicate with each other. Wind is one of the original powers of the world helping birds to fly, boats to sail, and certain animals to glide. Wind  also does a lot of damage, rips and tears at whatever isn’t secured to the earth.

Wind is also change…..the ability to adapt to situations and people. It is also the ability to accept these changes and flow with them.

Move like the Wind…..

Idolia series 1: Water

Finally after a long absence, I’ve finished a new art series. The concept behind these series are my idea on guardian elemental spirits created to protect clans, villages and even cities from invasions…  They are powerhouses and the best defense that can be created by mortals. And I start with one that’s good for Saturday.
Water, the soothing element, the element that pretty much keeps us alive.

It’s very very important so to say….

Water is also seen to flow around stuff going the path of least resistance however, water also does a lot of damage, grinds and wears away at things and always finds a way through.

Thus while water is kind, malleable, healing and nonconfrontational, it can be absolutely wrathful and persistent.

Flow like water……

Move faster, hit harder, dance the steps of the sword, betray none of the qualities of the sage lest your blood clots and flesh withers….

Been working on this for awhile and thankfully it came out pretty good.

The essence of the image to me is of being welcomed.

The feeling of being accepted, being gifted with a symbol of “living” affection…..

Is something that I’ve tried and had a few successes at conveying to others….

Hopefully in future my actions will be as affectionate and welcoming as the image implies.

Instagram, inktober and other things

A lot of the time what keeps me from making regular posts is a mixture of insecurity, laziness and a pinch of perfectionism. While consulting with one of my few real life friends, I was given the simple advice “just write, as you keep writing, the kinks will work themselves out.

And so I shall.

A few months ago I got on the social app instagram (yes I’m a late bloomer and my head has been under a rock.. . I get it.) and had quite a bit of fun with it.
There are a lot of interesting people,some who I followed and a few (too few) that followed me.

Recently I engaged in a activity called #inktober, a 30 day art thingie that occurs every october. I, myself decided to do an artwork a day for the whole month.

Honestly… I failed. But I can say that I did 22 days out of 30. Sooo close! However there’s always a next time for everything under the sun.
